This policy applies to
- Candidates who use Huntsly to take the assessment and search for job opportunities.
- Companies who use Huntsly to screen candidates and manage team members.
Information We Collect
We collect the following information:
- Name and Surname
- Email Address
- Mobile Number
- Usage data, such as pages visited, features used, and time spent on the site
- Technical data, such as browser type, device info, and IP address
- Companies Basic business information, invoices and billing activity (via third party providers)
- Candidates Cognitive assessment results and personality assessment results.
Note: We do not store or process payment card details. All payments are securely handled by third-party services: PayStack and Stripe.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your Huntsly account
- Allow companies to assess candidates fairly
- Deliver test results and recommendations
- Communicate with you via email or SMS (e.g., test links, reminders, results)
- Monitor platform usage and improve our services
- Meet legal and security requirements
Sharing Your Information
We only share your data when it's necessary to run Huntsly, including with:
- Third-party payment processors: PayStack, Stripe
- Analytics providers: To understand how people use Huntsly. This data is shared in an anonymized format.
- Employers/Companies: If you're a candidate being assessed by a company on Huntsly, and have provided consent for your data to be viewed.
- Candidates: If you're a company and have given consent to be discoverable.
Data Security
Our servers and third-party partners may store your data in South Africa, the United States, or Europe. We take steps to ensure your data is safely transferred and stored, in line with privacy laws.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, namely:
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS)
- Password hashing and access controls
- Limited access to sensitive data
- Secure data storage
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as is necessary:
- For as long as you have an active account
- As long as required to provide services or meet legal obligations
- We will remove inactive account's test results after a 12 month period, if requested by the user.

- Ask us to delete your data (when legally allowed)
- Object to us processing your data
- Withdraw your consent at any time
